Day 1 : TOULOUSE / ALBI / RODEZ

Arrival at Toulouse Airport.

Transfer to ALBI.

Visit the Toulouse Lautrec Museum and Sainte Cecile Cathedral.

Proceed to the RODEZ Area.

Visit a sheep farm which produces milk for Roquefort cheese.

Traditional dinner.

Overnight in the RODEZ Area.

 

Day 2 : ROQUEFORT / GORGES DU TARN

Breakfast

Drive to ROQUEFORT, the village known for its famous cheese, favorite cheese of the Kings of France.

Visit Roquefort Cave and enjoy a cheesetasting.

Proceed to GORGES DU TARN via MILLAU, city of leather.

Panoramic visit of Gorges du Tarn and Cevennes National Park.

Drive back to the RODEZ Area.

Traditional dinner.

Overnight in the RODEZ Area.

 

Day 3 : ROCAMADOUR / GOUFFRE DE PADIRAC / SARLAT

Breakfast

Drive to ROCAMADOUR.

Walking tour of the city (little train is also an option) of ROCAMADOUR.

Visit a family-owned goat farm.

Tasting of their soft goat cheese “AOC Rocamadour”.

Proceed to GOUFFRE DE PADIRAC.

Visit Gouffre de Padirac.

Proceed to SARLAT.

Traditional dinner.

Overnight.

 

Day 4 : FULL DAY IN DORDOGNE

Breakfast

Option 1 : Grottes de Lascaux II – La Roque Saint Christophe.

Visit Grottes de Lascaux II.

Proceed to the Vezere Valley with stops to see villages like Saint Leon sur Vezere.

Visit the troglodytic site of Roque Saint Christophe : occupied by man from prehistoric times until the early Renaissance.

Option 2 : Dordogne Valley

Walking tour of the city of BEYNAC ET CAZENAC.

Visit the Château de Milandes : the castel where Josephine Baker lived.

Observe birds of prey.

Proceed in the Dordogne Valley by walking tour through famous villages :
CASTELNAUD LA CHAPELLE (optional visit of the castle), LA ROQUE GAGEAC and DOMME (little train is an option).

In the late afternoon, proceed to a family-owned farm near SARLAT.

Visit a duck and goose farm. On this farm, they make traditional and regional products like the famous Foie Gras. Tasting.

Dinner at the farm’s restaurant.

Drive back to SARLAT.

Overnight.

 

Day 5 : MONBAZILLAC / SAINT EMILION

Breakfast

Drive to MONBAZILLAC.

Visit a cellar which produces white wine; tasting.

Proceed to SAINT EMILION.

Walking tour of the city.

Visit a cellar which produces the famous red wine; tasting.

Drive to the SAINT EMILION Area.

Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6 : BORDEAUX / AGEN / TOULOUSE

Breakfast

City tour of BORDEAUX.

Drive to AGEN.

Visit a prune producer. Tasting.

Proceed to TOULOUSE.

Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 7 : CARCASSONNE / TOULOUSE

Breakfast

Drive to CARCASSONNE.

Cruise on the Canal du Midi.

City tour of CARCASSONNE.

Lunch at a restaurant : Cassoulet Menu.

Proceed to TOULOUSE.

City tour of TOULOUSE.

Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 8 : TOULOUSE / BACK TO HOME

Breakfast

Until leaving for the airport : free time for shopping.

Transfer to the TOULOUSE Airport.

Check in and take off.
